At this year’s IEEE Visualization Conference in Vienna, Bernhard Preim was inducted into the IEEE Vis Academy, which describes itself as a “prestigious academy that recognizes the achievements of leading figures in the field.” Among the five new members of the IEEE Vis Academy are two professors of visualization from the University of Magdeburg: Bernhard Preim and Holger Theisel.
